The Role
The Royal British Legion is recruiting a Grants Officer (level 1) within its Grants Department. This dynamic team assesses a high volume of grants applications relating to people who are eligible to receive support from The Legion, provides information and guidance to colleagues, and generally supports the centralised aspects of the Legion grant audit and fulfilment processes.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate empathy and judgement while maintaining service standards and helping to safeguard the Legion’s finite funds. The roles involve considerable liaison with external charities and agencies and it is anticipated that successful candidates will be experienced, tactful communicators.
