Headquarters South West will be running a Job Fair in Tidworth Garrison Theatre on Wednesday 15 March 2017. At the event will be over 45 regional and national employers, as well as recruitment agencies who are specifically looking to recruit Service Leavers, Veterans and Spouses. A wide variety of industry sectors will be represented, including (but not exclusively): health, care, construction, transport, communications, tourism & leisure, manufacturing, bio sciences & pharmaceutical, finance and defence.
During the day a series of presentations/seminars will be delivered by outside experts on the following topics:
- The Service Leaver’s Journey – from a Service Leaver who has successfully made the transition to gainful & worthwhile employment.
- CTP – what resettlement services are provided for Service Leavers.
- The Business Perspective – what are businesses looking for in potential employees?
- Spouses – what opportunities exist for employment & personal development for spouses.

All military personnel in Resettlement are encouraged to attend – even if you are not sure where you wish to settle or what job you are looking for, use the opportunity to speak to businesses who are looking to recruit from the military community to help develop your Resettlement planning. Unique to the Tidworth Job Fair will be a number of employers and agencies specifically attending to recruit/offer advice to spouses and partners also looking for employment.
