Garsington Opera wants members of the Armed Forces Community to help them with a brand new production: Silver Birch: A People’s Opera
Silver Birch is an original story bringing modern day themes and issues of war and family to the forefront, with echoes of the past through Seigfried Sassoon, a regular visitor to Garsington Manor during WWI. Silver Birch is a production for all the family (aged 8+) about courage, aspiration and aiming high.
This large scale project will involve over 180 community participants aged 8-85, who will perform alongside a professional orchestra and singers on Garsington Opera’s main stage in Stockenchurch, Buckinghamshire from 28th-30th July 2017.
They are looking for members of the Armed Forces Community to be involved in the production.
