The Trust and RBL help Rose come home

During a trip to Thailand to visit their son, Rose, Arthur and son David were involved in a horrific car accident which took the lives of Rose’s son and husband and left Rose with serious injuries.

Friends and family launched an appeal to raise funds so that Rose could be treated in Thailand. Rose spent 5 and half months in Bangkok Hospital, where she began to recover, but sadly there were no funds left to bring Rose back to the UK.

With the help of the Royal British Legion and RNBT, who each donated £10,000, Rose is now recovering at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

As Arthur served in the Royal Navy the Trust was able to assist Rose during her ordeal.  These were very sad and exceptional circumstances and RNBT exists to help those in need and their dependants.
