There are numerous examples of cooperation and collaboration between Cobseo Members that often go unrecognised across the Service Charities Sector. They take many forms, but when they are delivered successfully, invariably lead to reduced overheads, more efficient utilisation of resources, and an improved focus on services to beneficiaries.
This Information Note presents a summary of the options available to improve how Members support their beneficiaries, drawing on recent studies in the charity sector, Members’ experiences, and the wider charity sector. The generic forms of collaborative working are described, as well as the typical issues to be addressed to achieve successful outcomes.
