Despite the postponement of our regular programme of activities we continue to deliver an adapted programme to our beneficiaries that acts as a ‘focus’ and ‘distraction’ from long-term rehabilitation and the current situation.
During this uncertain period, three On Course Foundation beneficiaries have taken on the responsibility of offering their specialist services during the Covid-19 pandemic and period of lockdown.
Gregg Stevenson
Gregg is one of the original On Course Foundation beneficiaries having joined shortly after inception in 2010. He lost both legs to an IED blast in Afghanistan in 2009, however, this hasn’t stopped him from becoming a keen golfer and fully qualified Personal Trainer. Over the last few weeks he has provided us with some sessions on improving golf mobility. A video of his second session can be viewed below:

Mark Tattersall
Mark joined On Course Foundation in 2015. He was involved in a road traffic accident in 2010, suffering a fractured tibia and right frontal lobe contusion. He has since become a qualified Physiotherapist and has provided us with the first of a weekly series of videos on dynamic stretching which can improve both mobility in golf and reduce stiffness, especially during this period at home:

Mike Browne
Mike suffered a broken leg during a routine training exercise at Longmoor Training Camp in 2011. Two years later he still hadn’t recovered as a result of a rare infection and it was decided that amputation was the best option. After being signposted to On Course Foundation in 2014 he got his first handicap of 28. Fast forward two years and he had turned professional and now plays regularly on various Satellite Tours and the European Disabled Golf Association, where he has ranked as high as No.2 in the world. Mike has been sharing videos on golf specific drills which can be practiced at home. His video on ‘stopping the sway’ can be viewed below:
All of our activity throughout this period can be viewed on our YouTube channel and you can subscribe for regular updates.
