JOINED UP is a proactive platform created to connect North East employers who are actively recruiting from the Defence Community; Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists, Cadets and Military Family Members.
Recognised and supported by the North East Armed Forces Business Forum, JOINED UP’s key objectives are:
i. To promote the value and integrity of the Defence Community (specifically Veterans, Service leavers, Reservists, Cadets and Military Families) to employers and Business in the North East;
ii. To actively engage with Employers to understand their needs and promote the sharing of best practice;
iii. To promote and engage with the Defence Community (specifically Veterans, Service leavers, Reservists, Cadets and Military Families), raising awareness of JOINED UP and ultimately to gain employment;
iv. To work with existing recruitment/resettlement partner organisations in promoting roles, positions, and employment opportunities; and
v. To promote membership of the Armed Forces Covenant, and the Employers Recognition Scheme (ERS).
