***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***
This role is central to the charity’s mission of delivering high-quality support to hundreds of Armed Forces Families.
We refer to our service users as our Members and this reflects our inclusive and listening approach as a charity. You will be at the forefront of working with and listening to forces families to ensure that the charity understands their needs and then bringing together everyone’s ideas to help create practical and effective solutions. This will require highly developed personal skills and an ability to see things from other perspectives.
As part of a small and highly motivated team, you will develop and maintain peer-led services, requiring you to be both creative and a “completer-finisher”.
You will be an ambassador representing the charity at various forums and stakeholder events, so you will need to be a confident and engaging communicator.
Working with our director you will monitor our impact and ensure that the board of trustees and our stakeholders remain informed of progress. This will require attention to detail.
Working Requirements
The role is offered on a part-time basis of 25 hours a week.
The charity’s staff are currently all working from home, we are currently exploring moving to a blended, or hybrid working model. This will combine working from home, with working from an office location within the Aldershot Area.
Occasionally you will be expected to represent the charity at events across the UK.
Annual Holiday Entitlement – 140 hours per year, including Bank Holidays.
Salary – £11.40 per hour.
