From 0001 to 2359 (BST) on the 29th May 2021, The Invictus Games Foundation are calling on the help of the Global Invictus Community to help us with this challenge that marks the fact that, even though it has been postponed due to the pandemic, we will be welcoming teams to The Hague, Netherlands in 2022 for the fifth Invictus Games.
The aim is to complete a full lap of The Netherlands – 919 miles – within a 24hr period. You contribute to the collective total by exercising in your own location then inputting the distance you have covered (manual input or linked via Strava). You can undertake the challenge as an individual and simply contribute to the grand total, or you might choose to join a national team, a team specifically for Friends and Family of serving personnel and veterans, a team for healthcare workers. There is also the option to form your own team, drawn from your own community, workplace, unit or school. Sign up now for free, but hurry because places are limited.
The #LapOfHolland is a community event with the primary aim of encouraging teams from around the world to come together and engage in a collective challenge to mark what would have been The Invictus Games The Hague this year.
