Today, BFBS Academy announces the launch of its new Level Three Photography Course, which starts at BFBS headquarters on 13 September.
The course is designed for serving military, ex-service personnel, and veterans with a passion for photography and is open to all regardless of age, rank, or previous photography experience. BFBS accepts Enhanced Learning Credits (ELCs) and is keen to accommodate those who have been wounded, injured or become sick whilst serving.
The course runs from Monday to Friday for two weeks at BFBS’s dedicated media hub in Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire. Led by two experienced photographers and tutors, Rupert Frere (Army) and Ross Tilly (ex RAF), the course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of photography.
The tutors will bring real-life experiences to the classroom making each lesson relevant and engaging. Some activities are classroom based whilst others take place out and about, in either a rural or urban environment, supported by the tutors.
June MacMahon, Head of BFBS Academy, states:
“At BFBS Academy we pride ourselves in delivering established accredited courses, as well as bespoke training. Our reputation is unrivalled among our clients, who range from Government Ministers to people leaving the armed forces.
With this new Level Three Photography Course we are really looking forward to being able to offer the expertise of industry heavyweights Rupert Frere and Ross Tilly in a course tailored specifically to the wider military community.”
