As we get nearer to the ASDIC conference, 4-5 May, Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds we have been talking to ASDIC member Helen Taylor, CEO of Bridge For Heroes, a drop-in centre in King’s Lynn, has been talking about the difference ASDIC makes.
Helen Taylor said:
“We may be a small Charity tucked up in the west corner of Norfolk, but we do get enquiries from much further afield.
“ASDIC gives us the confidence to signpost veterans on to like-minded dop-in centres across the country when the need arises. This has included veterans wanting to resettle elsewhere, holidaymakers wishing there was something in their area similar to our Charity, and homeless veterans wanting to go back to their hometown.”
