This is a full time, permanent position, based at our Leatherhead site in Surrey with travel.
Salary: circa of £50,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
Overview of the Role & Team:
Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company (BBMC) is RBLI’s Social Enterprise, providing employment opportunities to veterans and people with disabilities. The role is based at RBLI’s Leatherhead site, which provides high quality print, direct mail and fulfilment services for a range of commercial, charitable and public sector organisations. This position reports to the Manager of BBMC Leatherhead.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Managing Director of Social Enterprise you will be primarily responsible for client relationship management, developing opportunities with existing clients and seeking new accounts in all areas of the business to meet financial targets.
The role will effectively handle print and mail, sales and account enquires and to provide quick and accurate quotations to customers whilst working with a wide-ranging mix of people to deliver on this activity.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- To achieve revenue and business targets in line with monthly company budgets and forecast.
- To play a key role in developing new Factory Master software for the Leatherhead site.
- To build effective and long lasting working relationships with new and existing clients.
- To effectively develop business leads with existing and potential client accounts to increase sales.: this may require visiting customers.
- To produce quotations and follow up quotations and associated activities.
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of available products.
- Ensure key management and financial information is produced on a timely basis to support the effective management of BBMC, including, but not limited to weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
- To effectively communicate with the Production Supervisor on production deadlines, ensuring that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately through to completion with all the necessary approvals gained.
- To comply with all Quality Assurance procedures and Company procedures as detailed in both the Company and departmental manuals.
- Take responsibility for personal development, identifying training needs and request appropriate training as required
- Undertake any reasonable duty requested, provided that appropriate training and guidance have been given to ensure appropriate capability. This may include sales activity relating to other RBLI products and services or new products and services.
Working Environment:
This role will be based at RBLI’s Leatherhead Print and Mail Centre and may involve some travel to customers and other RBLI sites.

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within customer service / sales led environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of printing processes
- Proven Key Account Management experience
- IT literate – working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Sound prioritisation, workload and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Previous sales/design experience.
- Experience / existing knowledge of print and mailing services
Note: This job role requires a completed DBS check before the candidate starts. The level of check required for this role is BASIC
