Do you have what it takes to be part of the Walking With The Wounded team?
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trusts and Foundations Executive to join a well-established and supportive fundraising team to help drive the delivery of ambitious trust income targets. Our target for 2024 is £1.3m and we are a forward thinking and innovative charity. We have a proven track record of engaging with new and lapsed trusts over the last couple of years and are keen to sustain this. If your attitude matches this, you will feel perfectly at home within our team of dedicated fundraisers.
This is a dynamic role that will support the trust fundraising team to steward existing donors and engage with new trusts and foundations that align to our goals. You will focus on researching potential new funders, growing our pipeline and creating innovative applications and reports. With a keen eye for detail you will develop engaging stewardship materials and ensure that funders receive timely reports and updates. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in Operations and other WWTW teams, so that you can represent our work effectively and will use your creativity to tell the story of the veterans that we support.
The ability to multitask and prioritise demanding workloads are all essential skills for this role. The Trust and Foundations Executive will report directly to the Trust and Foundations Manager for all day-to-day activities and will support their work by inputting into larger applications and reports. They will also support the Head of Fundraising with wider charity initiatives that are appropriate to the role.
In return we offer a supportive and friendly working environment where you can use your writing and research skills to really make a difference to those who have served.
Please note that whilst this role can be anywhere in the UK, there is expected occasional travel to our regional offices, most specifically Norfolk and Manchester.
