Naval Families Federation – Trustee

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

Join our Board to champion Royal Navy and Royal Marines Families!

The Naval Families Federation (NFF) exists to give Royal Navy and Royal Marines families a voice and representation to the Ministry of Defence, Ministers, other Government departments, the Chain of Command and other civilian service providers. As an independent charity, we provide support and guidance on matters affecting the daily lives of Naval service families, enabling them to thrive in their communities of choice.

Who should apply?

We welcome applications from non-serving members of the naval family who with credibility and lived experience, can contribute as a Trustee, act as an advocate and apply charity governance expertise.

What is the time commitment?

Four meetings per year (January, April, July and October) either in person at NFF offices in Portsmouth or via Teams. There is a requirement to attend in person for the July Strategy Day, which incorporates the Trustee meeting, held in Portsmouth. Reasonable expenses are paid.

How do I find out more? You can arrange a call with the Naval Families Federation Chair of Trustees by contacting Captain Paul Quinn, RN (Retd) paul.quinn@nff.org.uk

Your current CV and covering letter demonstrating your suitability and passion for this voluntary role should be sent to recruitment@nff.org.uk by Friday 14 June. (Please note that applications sent via social media will not be accepted).
