Cobseo Member, The Bolton Guild of Help, has formed a partnership with Ingeus (who are also in partnership with the Department for Works and Pensions) in order to provide support and assistance to local veterans and their family members who are seeking employment in the town or within the wider Greater Manchester Region.
The Project offers personalised support programmes to help clients into work. This programme might include:
- Job specific CV and cover letter creation
- Mock interviews
- Access to the iWorks digital careers platform
- Travels to interview expenses
- Assistance with first month of employment travel to work costs
- National Careers Service skills and job assessments
- Access to an employer within thirty days of joining the project
- Ongoing in-work support
This assistance is also available to those still serving and approaching their end of service date.
