The Commandant-in-Chief of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps) (FANY (PRVC)), Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, opened the Corps’ new Headquarters at Wellington Barracks on Wednesday 5 February 2025.
HRH The Princess Royal then met with a selection of supporters and members of the Corps to hear more about the deployments and events that have taken place in recent months; this included supporting the Greater London Authority (GLA) after the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) was activated due to the recent cold weather.
HRH The Princess Royal has been Commandant-in-Chief of the Corps in 1981.

“We were honoured that our Commandant-in-Chief was able to officially open our new Corps Headquarters and that she met some of our key supporters.”
