The Army Families Federation (AFF) is to host a Research Symposium on Monday 5 June, following the success of their first symposium back in 2015.
The event, a collaboration between academics, subject matter experts, AFF and the MOD, will focus on the issues Army families face with the aim of further research being developed and a better understanding of this cohort.
Key challenges to Army family life
With keynote speaker Dr Rachael Gribble from the King’s Centre for Military Health Research, and speakers from the Army, MOD and AFF, outlining the key challenges to Army family life in 2017, this is a great event for anyone undertaking research in this field of work.
The symposium will take place at the Guy’s Campus, King’s College London, and there will be an opportunity to participate in discussion sessions during the day based on themes including military children, spousal employment, mental wellbeing and more. In addition, academics can bid to chair discussions and present their research.
