Blind Veterans UK, the national charity for vision-impaired ex-Service men and women, is hosting a Big Help Out event at its Centre of Wellbeing in Llandudno as part of the King’s Coronation celebrations.
The event, taking place on Monday 8 May between 11am and 3pm, is an opportunity for anyone looking to volunteer to find out what roles are available with Blind Veterans UK as well as other organisations from the local area.
The charity will be welcoming the Conwy County Sea Cadets, Aberconwy Squadron Air Cadets and the Army Cadets to the centre to share their own volunteering opportunities with members of the public and to promote the benefits of joining a cadet force.

The event is open to anyone who would like to come along and find out more about the volunteering roles available at Blind Veterans UK or at the other organisations taking part.

“We are excited to welcome the public to the centre to find out more about not only our opportunities but also those of other incredibly worthwhile and hard-working organisations in our area that do so much amazing work. The cadets offer so much support to young people.”
