Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have over a century of experience providing the best care to our veterans.

Since then, we’ve provided support to tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans, helping them to regain their independence. By providing our members with the tools and skills they need to lead a fulfilling and active life, we ensure they remain valued members of society.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As a Project Manager / Business Analyst, you will manage the improvement of our current software systems and the implementation of new software to improve our processes.

Analysing both business and user requirements, you will select relevant software solutions, map system specifications and supervise system testing to ensure business needs are met.

Managing the change process, you will communicate effectively with senior users and developers, monitor progress and produce clear system documentation and user guides.

About You

To be considered as a Project Manager / Business Analyst, you will need:

– Experience of successfully managing projects and project team members
– Experience of collaborating with developers including requirements gathering, analysis, testing and implementation
– Experience of report design and generation
– Change management experience
– A good understanding of the fundamentals of Business Analysis
– Knowledge of all phases of a project lifecycle and/or development methodology
– Excellent business analysis skills
– Strong business and change management skills

Ideally, you will have experience of working with a Change Advisory Board. Experience of working with Office 365 is also desirable.

Familiarity with Power BI would be advantageous.

A PRINCE2 or Agile project management qualification would also be advantageous, as would a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.

This role may require visits to one of our centres or London HQ, therefore the job holder should reside in easy commuting distance of London, West Sussex or North Wales. In addition, occasional overnight stays may be required.
