Are you a professional within veteran support services?
Have you previously supported male veterans who have experienced sexualised behaviour whilst serving?
What are we looking for?
We are calling for evidence regarding male veteran’s disclosure of sexualised behaviour when using your services.
By sexualised behaviour we mean any behaviour that is sexual in nature, including targeted sexualised comments, sexualised hazing/initiations, non-consensual sexual touching and rape.
We are looking for this data to understand the male experience of sexualised behaviour whilst serving in the UK armed forces, from various perspectives including those of support services.
The evidence we are looking for includes:
– non-identifiable, anonymous demographic data
– policies, guidance documents and internal reports
– a summary of the type of sexualised behaviours male veterans have disclosed
We are also looking to speak with professionals about their experience of working with male veterans who have disclosed sexualised behaviour. If you would be interested in taking part in an interview, please contact the researcher using the details below, for more information.
