Care for Veterans is a leading provider of specialist, high-quality nursing, residential and respite care for physically disabled members of the ex. Service community and with a specialisation in the rehabilitation of those with progressive neurological conditions.
We are now recruiting for a Head of Clinical Services to lead our multi-disciplinary clinical team including 17 Registered Nurses, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech and Language Therapist. The role will report to the Chief Executive. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and clinical expertise, Proven leadership and management experience, with a willingness to take a ‘hands on’ approach to the role, are essential.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership team you will contribute to the CFV leadership agenda by providing strong strategic, professional, and clinical direction for all aspects of nursing and AHP’s in demonstrating care compassion and respect for staff, residents, and their families/ carers.
You will manage and develop the clinical services and lead the Operational Clinical Team at Care for Veterans ensuring good clinical governance while liaising with the Registered Manager to assure quality. You will liaises closely with relevant professional practitioners to further develop the reputation of Care for Veterans. You will lead the clinical delivery in accordance with the organisations and Care Quality Commission’s standards. You will provide proactive and visible leadership, reporting directly to the Chief Executive
If you are a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMHN)/ a Senior Nurse Prescribe or a Paramedic, who holds a valid professional qualification, mentorship qualification and are passionate about the delivery of high-quality clinical services then we welcome your application. Experience or knowledge of quality and improvement, CQC standards, NMC and all relevant regulatory and funder requirements would be beneficial.
This is a apart time job share opportunity (with or without a job share partner) working three days per week for a nominal 22.5 hours with the occasional requirement to meet with shifts, based in Worthing.
