The mutual is committed to supporting a range of military causes and charities and will be protecting Scotty’s Little Soldiers with its specialist Commercial Cover for military charities.
Founded in 2010 by war widow Nikki Scott, Scotty’s Little Soldiers supports over 300 children across the UK who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed Forces.
Scotty’s Little Soldiers CEO, Stuart Robinson said: “We’re delighted to be working closely with another member of Cobseo. The Military Mutual completely understand the environment Scotty’s Little Soldiers is working in and were able to present a package which perfectly fits our needs. Not only is it great to be keeping our business within the community, we’ve also saved money on our policy which will help us with our delivery of support to bereaved British Forces families.”
Rupert Hills of The Military Mutual said: “As the son of a Veteran and a Veteran myself, I know how important Scotty’s Little Soldiers is. Scotty’s not only endeavours to care and educate bereaved Forces children but mainly to bring a smile to children who have had to go through the unthinkable pain of losing a loved one. I look forward to working closely with Stuart and the team to not only raise the profile of the charity but also helping put a smile on children’s faces.”
