Now you might be asking yourself, “is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bug hunt?” Well private, all we know is that a mining colony has gone non-comunicato, meaning we need you to be our eyes on the ground.
So lock and load your pulse rifle, marine – you’ve got a job to do. Protect and serve the citizens of the Outer Rim – no matter what the cost…

Devizes and District Wargames Group
DDWG will be running two participation games at the AFM: 10mm Soviet heliborne air assault to capture bridge on River Leine, West Germany on 24 May 1985, using Cold War Commander rules, and a 28mm Napoleonic skirmish set in the Peninsula in Summer 1811, to capture a French eagle, using Sharp Practice rules. We look forward to seeing you there.
Wessex Wyverns Wargaming Club
”Today’s ‘Star Trek’ participation game, ‘A Very Civil War’, takes place during the Klingon civil war of 2367. Can the Federation prevent a Romulan intervention into Klingon affairs? Will the aged USS ‘Hood’ and it’s crew be up to the challenge? It is presented by the Wessex Wyverns Wargaming Club, and uses their rules, ‘Buoyz ‘N Da ‘Hood’ – In Space’, which are available as a free download. If you’d like to know more, please talk to the players, and come along and throw a few dice – Red Alert! Shields up! Make it so!”
