Following the death of General Sir Mike Jackson, GCB, CBE, DSO, DL, SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity has this statement:
Lieutenant General Sir Andrew Gregory KBE, CB, DL, the CEO of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity said:
“All in SSAFA are greatly saddened to learn of the death of General Sir Mike Jackson; he was wise, a charismatic leader and always true to his and the Army’s values, especially as a man of courage and integrity. We send our deepest sympathies to his wife Sarah, Lady Jackson, herself a former trustee of SSAFA, and to his family.”
