Gina is one of Sporting Force’s fundraisers and volunteers, and this summer she will lead a team of female veterans on the UK Challenge, and complete a challenge of her own.
BFBS Radio interviewed Gina this morning (26 January) and discussed her solo challenge across 300 miles in Scotland. Gina will be Hiking 100 miles in the Scottish highlands on the West Highland Way, paddling The Great Glen to Inverness, and then cycling back to Fort William – all solo and totally unsupported. It’s going to be a tough one but she feels it’s worth it to fundraise for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, Sporting Force, and ACCTUK. Through the interview, she also highlighting the amazing work of Endsuicide. Her trip is all self funded with every penny raised going to charity.
A massive thank you to the radio station for covering the story.
