Give Us Time is delighted to have received funding for the next two years from the Veterans Foundation. This vital income will help the charity continue to support veteran families from all three Services to access respite breaks.
The charity’s breaks have supported ex-serving personnel with physical and mental health needs, as well as helping families make the transition out of service life.
Mark had a solo trip with a furry friend earlier in 2024 and told us
‘I cannot thank you all at Give Us Time, and the donor of this little respite enough; it was sorely needed at a particularly difficult time for me.’
The Veterans’ Foundation purpose is to raise funds and give grants to charitable organisations that support serving and former members of the armed forces and their dependants, who are in need.

Give Us Time supports Forces families to reconnect through donated respite breaks. Since 2013, we’ve enabled more than 1,200 families to get away and spend time together on breaks in the UK, Europe, and the US. This year (2023/24) we have enabled our biggest number of Forces families ever to access respite breaks and days out to spend precious time together, with more than 250 families supported.
