Grant funding available for charities which support serving Army personnel and their families

The Army Central Fund (ACF) awards grants to projects and activities run by UK registered charities which contribute to the physical, mental and social wellbeing of serving British Army personnel, both Regular and Reserve, as well as their immediate families.

Applications are now being invited for submission by Monday 31 March 2025. These will be considered by the Trustees at their next meeting in May. Grants awarded will be paid between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.

You are invited to share a brief outline of your funding proposal with the ACF Director, Caroline Crewe-Read, via grants@armycentralfund.org.uk who will then contact you to arrange a discussion and to discuss the application process.

When making their decisions Trustees focus on the need identified and the benefits the proposed project will bring to the serving Army and their families. Further information can be found at https://www.armycentralfund.org.uk/

Please note the ACF cannot accept applications from individuals, nor is it able to support activities focused on veterans or cadets. Army units and Army Sports Associations/Unions should not apply direct to the Army Central Fund but should follow the instructions and guidance detailed in Army Command Standing Order 3206 (Army Welfare Funds) issued May 2024.
