About You
Are you a confident self-starter with significant experience working with senior politicians and government ministers in a policy role? Do you have a track record of enhancing an organisation’s reputation with policymakers, and a keen political eye as well as excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for championing the needs of the Veteran community? If you are also a true team player, trusted by your colleagues and able to work productively and collaboratively with both senior and junior members of the organisation look no further.
About the Role
The Senior Manager role is fundamental to the Charity’s business plan as the focus on issue-based campaigning increases. It sits within the broader Communications team offering plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development. The key components of the role are policy development, political engagement and communications.
About the Team
The Communications team is a vital and trusted department which sits across a number of areas including PR, fundraising communications, recovery communications and public affairs. The primary objective of the team is to develop, promote and protect the reputation of the organisation, ensuring the key messages of the charity are communicated to relevant audiences and ensure public affairs plans and activities are fully aligned with the strategic objectives of the charity.
