Salary Up to £44,654.00

Location: Hybrid – Remote and Community working in the North Region (predominantly the Northwest)

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

About You

Are you a committed, Registered Band 6 Nurse looking to expand your skills and have the opportunity to work with the Armed Forces Community? If you have an understanding of and empathy with the requirements of veterans and their families, you could contribute your skills and experience to improve the quality of life for our armed forces community

About the Role

As a Veteran’s Community Nurse you will:

  • Act as an initial point of contact between veterans with the resultant long-term health issues, and the NHS, integrating Help for Heroes input to the medical pathway with the Recovery MDT process. .
  • Provide Clinical advice and support to the veterans, their families/support network and Help for Heroes staff.
  • Support the “challenging to reach” veterans within the community.

About the Team

You will be joining the clinical team at Help For Heroes to provide community based input to armed forces veterans. We are resourceful in finding ways to deliver what is right and fair in the healthcare domain. Our aim is to champion the Armed Forces Community and to do this as one team of OTs and Registered Nurses. If you feel that you could join a team that is excited, confident and ready for tomorrow’s challenges this may be role for you.
