Heropreneurs is a charity that inspires, networks and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs from the armed forces community.
Richard Hughes and Matthew Hammond both left the Royal Marines in 2012, keen to work in the property industry they founded Handy Heroes Construction – a London based property maintenance and construction company that largely recruits skilled ex-military tradesmen. Latterly they have been working with investors, developing south London property for a profit.
They will talk through the highs & lows of running their own business, what they took with them on their journey, what they should have left behind and what & who they discovered along the way!
