SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is delighted to announce that Jonathan Sandall has been appointed as its new Director of Fundraising. Jonathan will join SSAFA on Monday 20 November 2017.
Jonathan is the former Director of Fundraising at Peabody, an organisation addressing poverty, isolation and vulnerability in communities across London. He has also held senior fundraising and business development roles at Shelter and Make-A-Wish UK.
Before joining the charity sector, Jonathan held income generation and business development roles in the financial services sector in London and across Asia.
Commenting on the new appointment, Sir Andrew Gregory, Chief Executive, SSAFA the Armed Forces charity, said:
“We are thrilled that Jonathan has chosen to join SSAFA and maintain the progress of growing and diversifying our income streams. Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience; he will ensure SSAFA can continue to provide the vital support we deliver the Armed Forces community.
