We’ve received loads of very worthy nominations already, but it would be a shame for any Cobseo Member to miss the chance to nominate a person or organisation that you think deserves the recognition of winning, or being named a finalist, in these prestigious awards. If your nominee is named as a Finalist, you’ll be invited to join them at a special Finalists’ Champagne and canapés reception at the House of Lords!
Here’s a couple of categories that you might not have thought about…
1. Animal Partnership
We are particularly seeking extra nominations in the Animal Partnership category. So, do you know of a four-legged friend that has made a huge difference to someone’s life? Or perhaps you’re aware of an organisation that uses animals to aid the recuperation of military personnel – such as our 2017 winner, Horseback UK.
2. Community Impact Business Award
Do you know anyone who has started a business that has a made a real impact on the Armed Forces Community? Last year’s “Community Impact” Award was won by a company called Sporting Force Ltd, which works with professional football clubs to provide work placements and courses for ex-military personnel. This is just one example – who do you know that’s business-spirited?
If you have already nominated someone, thank you so much! We’ve been asked whether it’s allowed to nominate more than one person or organisation – and the answer is YES! Absolutely! Please feel free to nominate as many deserving people as you like.
