Launch of Armed Forces families focused Living in Our Shoes Revisited project online on 5 December 12:00-13:00

Join the Living in Our Shoes Revisited team and Forces in Mind Trust for this Armed Forces families focused launch.

The publication of the ‘Living in Our Shoes’ report five years ago highlighted the unique challenges faced by UK Armed Forces families and made over 100 recommendations for change. Now members of the original project team are conducting research to evaluate the progress in meeting these challenges, determine the future priorities for families, and recommend the actions required by government and the third sector.

This launch will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session with an expert panel. The event will cover:

  • Why research on Armed Forces families is important
  • What can you expect from the project
  • How you can contribute

In addition to the project team the event will include additional speakers, with the full list of guest speakers announced shortly.
