Give Us Time is thrilled to welcome a new donor, Meadow Bay Villages Holiday Parks who have donated 32 breaks for June! This newly formed group has parks across the UK, including Biling Aquadrome, which is the biggest park we have ever had donated!
Alex Youngs, Give Us Time, Operations Director, said
“We’re thrilled that Meadow Bay Village has joined the Give Us Time family. The growing number of families joining us this year shows how essential these getaways are in allowing Armed Forces families to spend time together and create lasting memories. We’re sure that families will thoroughly enjoy all the opportunities Meadow Bay Village offers to spend time together away from the stresses of everyday military life.”
Give Us Time have been donated 8 midweek breaks for June 2024, in the site’s brand new 2024 Gold standard caravans. Starting from June 10, 17 and 24, these breaks sleep up to 4, in two bedrooms, with fully fitted kitchens, and bed linen and duvets provided, they provide wonderfully relaxing accommodation.
We also have 20 touring pitches for the same weeks, available for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. All pitches will have electrical hook ups, and are close to toilet, shower and washing up facilities.
Their CEO, Geoffrey Smith, said
“The Meadow Bay Villages team is deeply honoured to announce our partnership with the “Give Us Time” charity. Through this collaboration, we eagerly anticipate welcoming families supported by “Give Us Time” to enjoy much-needed holiday breaks. These moments of respite provide an invaluable opportunity for families to reconnect, strengthen their bonds, and create lasting memories.
“We take immense pride in contributing to the well-being and happiness of these deserving families. Our partnership with “Give Us Time” reflects our profound gratitude and recognition of the sacrifices made by service families for our nation. Meadow Bay Villages is committed to supporting their well-being and honouring their dedication.”
Billing Aquadrome is one of the biggest holiday parks in the UK, covering 235 acres (1km2). Following investment from Meadow Bay, the park’s facilities now include children’s play areas, den building, football and dodgeball, swimming pool, kids’ club, fishing, new fish and chip and food trucks, with more to come, including an outdoor cinema, splash park and adventure gold on their way! Added to that, the holiday park has easy access to a range of activities in the local area, from trampoline parks to theme parks and country parks!
On top of this donation, they have also donated 4 breaks to the beautiful Hayling Island! Our families can enjoy midweek breaks throughout June as well where they can make a splash in the park’s indoor or outdoor swimming pools!
