CastleHill Foundation
The CastleHill Foundation is committed to supporting bereaved and injured victims and survivors of terrorism and veterans, their families and carers and maintain resilience by providing evidenced based treatment, prevention and support services in order to address issues of declining mental, physical and emotional health as a result of the troubles or service with the armed forces. The CHF was established in August 2013 to positively contribute to the health and well-being of victims, survivors, veterans, carers and their families from the Upper Bann and South Tyrone area.
Support Offered
Some of the activities which the Castlehill Foundation provides are:
• Specialist Psychological Treatments CBT/CAT/EMDR
• Individual and Group Counselling and Psychotherapy
• Complementary Therapy Treatments
• Training Workshops and personal development classes
• Welfare and Benefits Advice, Support and Assistance
• Respite Days and Residential
• Vocational/education/recreational training programmes to victims/carers and their families
• Adult and Peer to Peer Community Befriending Services
