The following message has been shared by Help for Heroes:
“During these highly unusual circumstances, Help for Heroes remains absolutely committed to supporting the ongoing recovery journey of wounded, injured and sick veterans, service personnel and their families. Many aspects of its support including Welfare, Psychological Wellbeing, Veterans Clinical Liaison and Fellowship, are available to beneficiaries via telephone or Skype. In addition, teams are working hard to adapt additional forms of support, including Health and Wellbeing courses, to deliver these in different ways including Skype and virtual events.
“Regrettably, it’s been necessary to take the very difficult decision to pause face to face services at its’ Recovery Centres and community locations at this time. The priority is to keep our beneficiaries, colleagues, volunteers and others, safe and well informed. Help for Heroes is actively reviewing the situation between now and June and will provide an update as soon as face to face support resumes.
