The Military Coworking Network (MCN) is a tri-service pilot project that is being sponsored via the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund. It is being delivered in collaboration with RAFA, and is supported by the NFF, AFF and RAFFF.
The MCN has been set up by military spouses for military spouses in response to the many challenges they face. Its mission – to provide military spouses and partners of serving personnel, the means, opportunity, and support, to achieve their full career potential and maintain independent, professional lives alongside military life. Military spouses can join the MCN either as a member of their Online Network, which is FREE or directly via their Coworking Hub Network, which is subscription-based. The MCN offers 3 levels of hub membership – Gold, Silver and Bronze depending on an individual’s hotdesking needs. Membership starts at as little as £20 / year.
The Online Network offers military spouses a platform where they can connect with their peers, and access a wide range of useful resources, including career and business support, as well as a variety of learning and development opportunities.
The coworking hubs give them a place where they can work, study, and connect with like-minded people, share advice, exchange experiences, and learn from their peers. So far, following the easing of Covid19 restrictions, 8 hubs have opened.
