Mission Motorsport, The Forces’ Motorsport Charity has announced the launch of #YourRoR 2024, a unique fundraising initiative designed to engage and inspire Mission Motorsport beneficiaries, the Armed Forces Community, companies, supporters and anybody passionate about its charitable work to come together as one community to not only fundraise and help meet the £100,000 fundraising target but share a very special pitlane Service of Remembrance.
For the past decade, Race of Remembrance ,a poignant Service of Remembrance with a 12hr endurance race attached to it has brought together wounded, injured and sick service leavers, veterans and their families as well as the wider Armed Forces community, motorsport enthusiasts, and supporters as one community to remember those we’ve lost and support those who remain. The event also raises vital funds for Mission Motorsport, The Forces’ Motorsport Charity, to fund their work supporting those affected by their military service through recovery motorsport.

Celebrating this special milestone, this year’s #YourRoR2024 campaign has a theme of 10 for 10. The charity is calling on YOU to be a part of the action by joining our #10For10 fundraising challenge! Whether it is a 10-mile run, 10 repetitions a day, a 10 hour swim, baking 10 cakes, or a personal challenge for 10 days, all funds raised will help fund the work of Mission Motorsport with service leavers, veterans and their families affected by their military service who rely on the support of the charity to embark on a journey of recovery to lead successful, happy lives after service.
Mission Motorsport CEO James Cameron said,
“This year’s #YourRoR campaign is challenging people to find fun, inclusive challenges and activities that allow people to commemorate the weekend in their own special way whilst helping the charity reach its ambitious fundraising target of £100,000. All the funds raised will help the charity to continue its work with those affected by military service – wounded, injured or sick service men and women, veterans and their families Whatever the challenge or activity you choose to undertake, we welcome everyone’s participation and are looking forward to sharing their stories.”
How Can You Get Involved?
There’s no limit to how you can participate! Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast, fitness buff, or simply someone who wants to give back, we encourage you to get creative with your #10For10 challenge. Every challenge counts, and every contribution makes a difference. Your impact doesn’t have to be extreme, but it will be meaningful.

- Set up a fundraising page via our website or JustGiving.
- Share your progress on social media—tag @MissionMotorspt and use the hashtag #YourRoR2024.
- Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join in or support your challenge!
- Keep us updated! We’ll be featuring your challenges throughout the campaign. By raising £50 by 4th November 2024 we will put your name on a car driven by beneficiaries at the 10th Race of Remembrance.
