National Army Museum – Family Learning Producer

The National Army Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our galleries and innovative exhibitions and public programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

£31,550pa (plus benefits)

(Full-Time, Permanent Appointment, London based)

We are seeking to appoint a Family Learning Producer to co-ordinate, research, design and deliver a vibrant, fun and participatory family learning programme for children aged 0-12 and their accompanying adults. The post-holder will work across a range of programme formats including games, gallery tours, storytelling, live interpretation, object handling, arts and music, and will develop and maintain in-gallery resources including trails, backpacks and handling carts. The post-holder will be a passionate advocate for museum learning, audience-focussed and confident in working with children and families.

Interviews for the Family Learning Producer will be held at the National Army Museum in Chelsea on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

Reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses is available for all candidates attending an interview.
