Through our five thematic galleries and our innovative exhibition and events programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

We are seeking Visitor Welcome and Retail Sales Assistant to join our passionate and dedicated team. This is a key role in ensuring that the Museum delivers world class, welcoming and engaging service at our welcome desk and family focussed early years soft play space. You will also drive sales by using exceptional selling skills in our shop and in helping the Museum achieve its sales targets across a breadth of commercial activities.
The successful candidates will have retail and or customer service experience, be a team player, enjoy interacting with visitors, have a positive outlook and possess an understanding of how to apply selling skills to drive sales and key performance indicators.
We have the following vacancies:
Part Time Visitor Welcome and Retail Sales Assistants, working 4 days out of 7 (includes some weekends) 24 hours (net) per week.
Part Time Visitor Welcome and Retail Sales Assistants, working 2 days out of 7 (Weekends) 15 hours (net) per week.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 6 December 2022.
