Read moreMission Motorsport have set up a new outreach programme for veterans called Veterans@Heritage. On the third Wednesday of every month veterans are invited to the former WWII bomber base, RAF Bicester, now the UK centre of historic motoring, Bicester Heritage.
You don’t need to be interested in classic cars to attend. Veterans@Heritage is an opportunity to have a brew, banter, speak to caseworkers from Veterans UK, SSAFA and RBL and maybe even spend some time on the test track. Each month will present different opportunities to learn photography, mechanics, local military history and much more.

Bicester Heritage is the site of the former WW2 RAF Bomber Station and is now the UK centre of historic motoring with more than 30 classic car related businesses on site. Mission Motorsport has a unit at the site which forms a focal point and veterans community hub. Veterans@ Heritage will meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 0930 to 1230, the next meeting being 17th January 2018.
Read moreThe 4th Race of Remembrance was run by Mission Motorsport over Remembrance weekend at Anglesey Circuit, North Wales. 45 teams took part in the 12hr Endurance Race which included 13 WIS personnel racing, 25 spending the weekend as part of race teams and a further 30 attending to take part in Supercar Saturday where they got fast passenger laps in Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, Audi and other sports cars.

Read moreFundraising for Mission Motorsport, next weekend a group of intrepid cyclists will be competing in the Rad Am Ring, 24hr cycle challenge at the Nurburging, in the Eifel region of Germany. Each lap is 26km and includes a 1500 ft climb. Two laps is the equivalent of cycling up Scafell Pyke. Each rider hopes to complete at least 8 laps within the 24hrs and included in the team will be Para-Olympian Gold Medallist Jon-Allan Butterworth, getting his legs back in shape after his Rio gold medal of 2016.
