19th February 2018 – Book you place on the Deloitte Military Insight Day – London

Attendees will have the chance to find out what it’s like to work in a professional services firm with a particular focus on work in our public sector cyber security team.

Throughout the day attendees will have the chance to hear from and meet with veterans who have made the transition from various parts of the military. There will be tips on how to make the transition from service life, plus an opportunity to register interest in an assessment centre for roles in their Cyber team.

The earlier you start the more time you will give yourself, and be able to do justice to your ‘reconnaissance’. There are so many opportunities out there, and it will take time to research them fully and identify where you feel you would fit in best.
You can start by doing some research online, where there is of course a huge amount of material and information. People will be impressed if you can demonstrate a certain level of knowledge. Read blogs, follow organisations on social media and look on their website.

RAF Officers will compete in one of the toughest adventure races in the world.

Four RAF Officers have entered the GODZone Adventure Race as part of its centenary celebrations, being formed towards the end of the First World War on 1st April 1918. In recognition of the occasion, the race organisers decided that the team number is 100. The team comprises of four RAF officers: Squadron Leader Jamie Buckle, Squadron Leader Penny Grayson, Flight Lieutenant Charlie Butterfield and Flight Lieutenant Laura Frowen.
