Midlands Military Meet (M3) is a new networking group in the Birmingham area. The group meets on the first Thursday of every quarter for relaxed and informal networking.

Personnel from Siemens Mobility (their transportation division) will be speaking about their functions and typical roles.

The Officers’ Association will target Operations Management as a potential job sector for transitioning officers with a workshop in York, on Feb 15th, 2017.

Hosted by Portakabin, the workshop will combine insight into the sector with practical experiences from key speakers as well as looking at the military qualifications that will translate across to the sector. Advice on shaping applications (and CV’s) to target the sector will be available.

The skills and experience required to manage a project are common within the Forces and many individuals look to transition into a new career within Project Management when they leave, but what does project management look like in a civilian context? What are businesses looking for in their Project Managers? What qualifications do you need to be recognised as a Project Manager? This workshop will be the first of a series of career-focused workshops around the country to explore these questions about project management in more detail.
