Read moreGive Us Time is thrilled that one of its long-time supporters, Chris Grech, has been shortlisted for the International Award, at the Soldiering On Awards, which will be decided in April this Year.
Chris, a Maltese National, has been supporting Give Us Time since 2014, donating accommodation at the Balkan Jewel Resort in Bulgaria to British Service families in need of respite and recuperation.
When Chris Grech heard about the charity Give Us Time, formed to meet the needs of Service families, he offered to run a pilot group holiday: a week at the Balkan Jewel Resort in March 2015.
Read moreIn October Give Us Time sent five families to the amazing Azure Resort in Malta in collaboration with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Center at Headley Court. We are all incredibly grateful to the Azure Resort for this generous donation as one of our family members said “we just want to thank you all again, it is just amazing that there are people out there helping others”.
The feedback from the families has been wonderful: they all had a great break relaxing and reconnecting as well as exploring the island.

We have been able to provide over 2,400 holidays in the past nine years. Thanks to the generous support from Jersey and the UK, we have had the privilege of providing nine holidays in 2008, 165 in 2009, growing rapidly to about 300 per year.
Read moreWe were thrilled to once again be featured in the Majorca Daily Bulletin following our recent trip to the island with 17 wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans. From 7th – 14th October, servicemen from the Royal Navy, Army took part in a varied programme of events in Majorca. The week was designed to build confidence and provide fun and excitement away from the monotony of the rehabilitation process, with beneficiaries treated to activities such as hiking, horse riding, water caving and climbing. A gala evening at Son Amar – thanks to the fantastic generosity of owner Margaret Whittaker OBE – prompted one individual to declare that the week spent in Majorca was “the best trip he had ever been on.”
Read moreFor several years The Not Forgotten Association has taken small groups of younger veterans and injured service personnel with their partners on rest and recuperation holidays to Majorca, staying at a remote farmhouse. The beautiful location and relaxed atmosphere are very therapeutic and allow injured men and women to spend quality time together.
