Nikki is the founder f ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’, the UK’s leading charity for bereaved British Forces children. Nikki set up the charity after her husband and father to her two children, Corporal Lee Scott, died in Afghanistan in 2009. The charity reaches more than 360 children of Army, Navy and RAF personnel with its ‘smiles’, ‘support’ and ‘strides’ programmes, providing fun activities, counselling and personal development grants.

Richard Sanders is a former Major in the Royal Logistic Corps the OA Employment Team supported. He had a one-to-one career consultation in March with Lisa Jones, an OA Career Consultant who also previously served as an Army officer, which helped him to be job ready and successfully apply for a new role.

Read moreX-Forces Enterprise was honoured to be alongside The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), The British Army and the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for a special Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Careers Showcase, which took place on Thursday 24th May 2018 at The RMAS. In attendance was the Rt. Hon Tobias Ellwood, Minister for Defence, People and Veterans; Brigadier Bill Wright, Commander and Lt. Col Deborah Taylor who was instrumental in organizing the event.
The Showcase event was a fantastic opportunity for girls from schools across the UK to see a wide range of STEM educational pathways and future employers.
