Aberystwyth veteran ascends Snowdon blindfolded as part of three-year challenge to raise funds for Blind Veterans UK

A Royal Welsh veteran from Aberystwyth has been completing a three-year fundraising challenge alongside other veterans and serving soldiers in his regiment, in memory of Captain Stephen Healey who was killed in Afghanistan on 26 May 2012 when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED).

Military Charity CEO to cycle distance of 7 marathons in 24 hours to support veterans.

Former Welsh Guardsman and Walking With The Wounded (‘WWTW’) CEO, Fergus Williams, is preparing to set off on a 200-mile cycle from the WWTW North West Hub in Canada Street, Manchester to the WWTW Head Quarters in Stody, Norfolk. Leaving early on Monday 21 June, Fergus is planning to complete the challenge in 24 hours.
