Next year the NFA will be offering the opportunity for 12 invited beneficiaries to take part in The Lord Dannatt Round Britain Challenge. They will take part in the 10-day voyage from Edinburgh to Belfast and will team up with cadets from all the services. This tall ship challenge will also commemorate the First World War which led to the founding of the Association. Former head of the Army General The Lord Dannatt is both Patron of the event and President of The Not Forgotten Association.
NFA Chief Executive Brigadier James Stopford said, “We are delighted to be able to provide the opportunity for our most deserving beneficiaries to take part in this very special challenge. The Jubilee Sailing Trust shares our objective of changing the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds by building confidence and improving self-esteem. Working together with other charities and service organisations for the benefit of injured service men and women is a key part of our ethos.”
