The Not Forgotten Association enriches the lives of injured service personnel. It provides entertainment and recreational activities for wounded, injured or sick serving personnel and veterans from the Tri-Service and Merchant Navy community. With an emphasis on the personal approach, and with the beneficiary firmly at the heart of everything we do, The Not Forgotten is looking for an individual to lead its business operations, finance and HR functions and support continuous business improvement more broadly.
Key responsibilities will be:
• Member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Manage the performance and business operations behind efficient delivery of charitable outputs.
• Drive the use of automated and integrated data, finance, and management information systems.
• Manage all finance and HR processes in support of Chief Executive.
• Support the mobilisation of a Fundraising capability within the Charity.
• Deputise for the Chief Executive as a matter of routine, for internal day to day office / business matters, but also in engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the NFA at events, including Royal events.
• Drive continuous improvement and the use of recognised good practice from across the sector.
As a small team helping a 10,000+ beneficiaries each year, The Not Forgotten Association is looking for someone who understands the importance of our work has complete empathy with it and wants to make a difference. The successful candidate is someone who can match the job description and demonstrate a proven track record as a finance, HR, and business operations manager, but who now is looking for a new and exciting challenge. Agility, deployability, and flexibility form a core part of this role.
