The OA will run the first of two Employment Symposia this year, the first of which will be held at the Network Rail Training Centre, York.
The Employment Symposium will bring together key employers – both regional and national, industry experts and OA network contacts and supporters to provide a day of industry expertise and insight for those in transition and those looking to take the next steps in their second career.
As trusted experts in the transition space for serving and former officers, the OA’s Symposia aim to offer attendees a mix of plenary sessions offering transition and general career advice, plus a wide range of break-out sessions.
The plenary sessions will include an exploration of tools such as LinkedIn; the art of conversation as part of networking; and the chance to ask advice from a panel of HR and hiring managers.
