On Course to the Open

On Tuesday 28 June, 56 wounded, injured and sick On Course Foundation beneficiaries will embark on an epic 1,453km relay challenge, On Course to the Open, carrying a pin flag from Royal St Georges Golf Club in Kent – the venue of the 149th Open Championship, to the Home Golf, St Andrews in Fife – the day before the start of the 150th Open Championship. This two week journey will see us visiting 64 golf clubs including the 13 UK mainland Open Championship venues and will be completed using six methods of non-motorised transport, including an open water swim in the River Mersey.
